As a result of high energy costs, macroeconomic uncertainty and worsened framework conditions, Color Line has decided to terminate operation of its cargo ship Color Carrier on the Oslo-Kiel line.

The operation of Color Carrier is no longer commercially viable as a result of significantly higher fuel prices and rising crew cost due to worsened framework conditions, combined with decreasing economical and industrial activity in Europe.

Color Carrier will operate until 14. November. Color Line will maintain its service offering for cargo on the Oslo-Kiel line with the sister ships Color Fantasy and Color Magic.

Color Viking will operate until 20. November. Color Line will continue to operate the line between Sandefjord and Strømstad with Color Hybrid.
