Fastnet Line
Fastnet Line is a brand new operator that provides passengers with crossings between Cork in Southern Ireland and Swansea situated in South Wales. The operator offers 4 weekly crossings in each direction in the peak months of July and August, and 3 weekly services each way the rest of the year.
Services are available for foot passengers, vehicles, caravans and freight traffic. In March 2010, the operator renewed a vital trade and tourism connection between the U.K and Southern Ireland. This service reduces roughly 400 miles on a round trip from Cork to London.
The service is operated by the MV Julia, which can carry around 30 trucks and has excellent on board facilities including cabins, bars, restaurants, shops and a cinema.
